Needleseye Hiking

From the trailhead parking area, the blue blazed hiking trail is the highlighted trail within the park that goes to the Needleseye Boulder and the Lions Den rock formation. The trail winds through a forest of hardwoods and beside many large rock boulders and at the base of a long cliff into the western territory of the park. From the trailhead parking area it is approximately ½ mile to the Needleseye rock formation and ¾ mile to the Lions Den rock formation.
