City Clerk- Treasurer Position
CITY CLERK-TREASURER POSITION
The City of Oak Hill is searching for a City Clerk-Treasurer. This position is employed at the will and pleasure of the Oak Hill City Council.
The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Experience in office organization and leadership skills is also desired. Other duties will include the preparation of a a variety of financial reports; preparing and overseeing administration of the approximately $5M city budget; attending city council meetings and composing necessary correspondence, minutes, reports, and other written materials; prioritizing city needs and coordinating operations and services; handling public contact with friendliness, responsiveness, and tact. Must be detail oriented, adaptable, flexible and a quick learner.
