Damita Johnson
Ms. Johnson is the executive in charge of the overall administration of the city's government. She was appointed by City Council on July 11, 2022. She directs and manages the functions of our municipal government under the direct supervision of the Mayor and City Council.
Her responsibilities include labor relations, insurance, risk management, budgeting, financial analysis, grant management, inter-municipal relations as well as execution of policy set by the Council.
Ms. Johnson provides direction to department heads related to operations, fiscal, and general management functions; provides supervision to personnel in the administrative department.
The City of Oak Hill is proud of Ms. Johnson and applauds her achievements.

- WV Municipal Clerks and Recorders Association's honored her as Clerk/Recorder of the Year during her 2009-2010 term.
- Served as President of the WV Municipal Clerks and Recorders Association in 2015-2017.
- Awarded the designation of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), Inc. in 2016.
- Awarded the designation of Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), Inc. in 2021.
