Position Opening: Zoning Enforcement Officer – City of Oak Hill
The City of Oak Hill is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Zoning Enforcement Officer. This role involves interpreting and enforcing zoning ordinances, conducting field inspections, reviewing permit applications, and providing zoning and land use information to the public. Responsibilities include maintaining zoning records, ensuring compliance with local codes, researching property data, and preparing monthly reports for City Council.
Salary: $41,000 (negotiable based on experience and education)

Minimum Qualifications: One (1) year of experience in zoning or related field; associate degree or equivalent in land use planning, architecture, or related field recommended but not required. Experience with construction inspection, GIS software, and surveying practices is a plus.
