Please donate to New River Humane Society
As we recall the things we are thankful for during the holiday season,
please remember the New River Humane Society needs your help.
All donations are welcome.
The Fayette County Commission was able to find additional funding for the 2019-2020 payroll budget for Fayette County Animal Control Center in Fayette County, West Virginia. The original budget cut of 65% was reduced to a 21% cut. However, they still need $44,000 to keep the current staffing model in place. As well as pay bills, purchase vaccinations/medications, etc.
If they are unable to raise these funds, they will be forced to make necessary changes in caring for the lost, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals.
The Oak Hill City Council has voted to donate $1500.00 in support of this worthy cause and are asking for your help in this dire situation. We will place a contribution jar for Humane Society donations at City Hall located at 100 Kelly Ave. in Oak Hill.
Please help us get the word out for our four-legged friends.
Check out the video below to see some of the animals that received help from our local Humane Society.
